My Movie - "Flying South"

            About the Movie

I participated in the National Student Exchange which gave me the opportunity to get away from my home school, the University of Connecticut, and study at the University of South Carolina for a semester. I made this short movie to tell the story of my transition from a rural agricultural school in Connecticut to an urban downtown campus in beautiful Columbia, South Carolina. I made the soundtrack myself using Apple's "Garage Band" software. The opening footage was actually recorded a few years ago at Central Connecticut State University when we had a blizzard in March and I had to get my car out of the snow to go to work. The South Carolina footage was recorded throughout the semester and the Uconn footage was recorded during spring break. In all fairness, there's more to Connecticut than just snow and cows, but I still couldn't be happier for coming to South Carolina.
